6.-Your
Heart O Mary
-Sea Maria Tu Corazón
Music: Lorenzo Alabert, CMF
Lyrics: Carmelo Astiz, CMF (English Version)
Claretians have been singing this traditional Spanish song
to the Heart of Mary for many years. Its new English version
portraits the Heart of Mary as the forge where the missionary
is formed to go and preach.

- Mother - Madre
Music: Angel Ochagavia, CMF
Lyrics: Angel Ochagavia, CMF
Tenderness is a strong characteristic of our love for Mary.
In this song, we ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother,
to guide and help us in our growing in the image of Christ,
in our work for our brothers and sisters. We ask Mary that
she will be always in our struggles nurturing our zeal and
love. The song was composed originally in Spanish for a
group of Claretian novices.

Hymn To The Immaculate Heart Of Mary
- Himno Al Inmaculado Corazon De Maria.
Music: Luis Iruarrizaga, CMF
Lyrics: Traditional Hymn of the Congregation in Spanish
Lyrics (modern version): Jacinto Simon, CMF and J.M. Vigil,
CMF
This hymn is the most popular Claretian song. Composed
by Fr. Luis Iruarrizaga, CMF around 1920 has been sung by
all Claretian generations and all devotees of the Immaculate
Heart of Mary. Together with the traditional lyrics, we
place in English and in Spanish the most recent version
written by Fr. Jacinto Simon and popularized by Fr. Jose
Maria Vigil. Though the Claretians belong to so many cultural,
linguistic and theological banckgrounds, they can sing with
one heart to Mary, our Mother and Model. The Heart of Mary
blends us into one heart while we sing this "Congregational
Anthem".

9.
A Hymn to Mary
Music: Angel Ochagavia, CMF
Lyrics: Sammy Canilang, CMF
"A Hymn To Mary" is a meditative song about the
role of Mary in the life of the Claretian missionaries.
Sammy summarizes in simple sentences what our Claretian
Constitutions say about Mary.

O
Virgin And Mother Of God
Music: Manuel Tardio, CMF
Lyrics: Prayer of St. Anthony Mary Claret
This song, known among Claretians as "Prayer of Consecration
to Mary", is sung almost everyday in our Claret Formation
Houses. Expressions like "I surrender myself to you
as your son," and "Mother, behold your son,"
re-echo the deep Marian trait embedded in our Claretian
Spirituality.
