A Hymn of Gratitude was composed in 1997 for the celebration
of the 50 Year Anniversary of the arrival of the Claretian
Missionaries in the Philippines. The Chorus describes our
particular vocation in the Church, while Verse I and Verse
II refer to the different kind of ministries that the Claretians
have done in the past and are doing now in the present.

The song is a Hymn to St. Anthony M. Claret with a clear
reference to the Prophetic Service of the Word of God characteristic
of the Claretian Mission Today.

English Translation: Jesus Vazquez, CMF
The original Spanish version has been considered one of
the most popular hymns to St. Anthony M. Claret in the recent
past. It was composed in the interprovincial Claretian seminary
of Salamanca, Spain, around 1970.

It is a Claretian Prayer. One of the charismatic Claretian
songs where our Father Founder describes the main aims of
his life and ministry and, of course, the main goals of
his Congregation of Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart
of Mary.
