ORDINATION TO DIACONATE

Benedict Sunio Dilag, CMF, was ordained as deacon by Most Rev. Pedro R. Dean, Jr. D.D. in San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish, Simangan, Ormoc City at 3:00 pm last May 5, 2004. Rev. Bong was joined by his family, friends and supporters in this memorable event.

The Dilag family from Iloilo came in full force as well as Bong's friends and classmates witness the occasion.

The Claretian family was headed by the Provincial Superior Fr. Renato Manubag, CMF and the Provincial Econome Fr. Manuel Sunaz, CMF; present were Claretian priests: Fr. Cyrus Banque, CMF, Fr. Pedro Cleofe, Fr. Noel Daduya, CMF, Bro. Angel Angeles, CMF, Bro. Ian Alabanza, CMF and Claretian Lay Collaborator, Miss Rosario Garcia. Several diocesan and religious priests and sisters as well as the generous and supportive people from Ormoc City actively participated in the preparation and actual ceremony.

Rev. Bong will exercise his ministry and continue to serve in the Claretian Mission Center in Ormoc City.
