A new Claretian Retreat House was inaugurated and blessed
on December 26, 2002. Fr. Carlos Rivas, CMF, provincial
superior of the Philippine Province presided over the
ceremony. All Claretians, priests, brothers and sisters,
working in the Metro Manila area celebrated at the same
time their annual Christmas gathering.
The retreat house is located within the Claret Seminary
compound at Cenacle Drive 48, Sanville Subd, Culiat, Quezon
City. Tel. (632) 9201442 / 920-8269.It has 35 rooms with
capacity for 70 persons, and a big conference hall that
can accomodate 200 persons.
Constructed by Eng. Leonardo Sinon, friend of the missionaries
and Fr. Agapito Ferrero, CMF, this Retreat house, together
with the nearby "M. Antonia Paris Retreat house"
run by the Claretian sisters, will be a true "Claretian
Spirituality Center" and contribute also to finance
other missionary activities of the Claretians in the Philippines.
