Around The World

Many different missionary congregations who share in St. Anthony Mary Claret's charism form the Claretian family in the world. They want to follow the Gospel in the style of Claret. All groups below are working as missionaries at the service of the Word.

St. Anthony Mary Claret founded:

  1. Claretian Missionaries - July 16, 1849
  2. Religious of Mary Immaculate, Claretian Missionary Sisters August 25, 1855, with Mo. Antonia Paris
  3. Cordimarian Affiliation, Spring of 1950 (Reorganized Nov. 21, 1973)
  4. Lay Claretian Movement Different groups in 1847 - 1864 "It seems that Gold wants lay people to play a large role in the salvation of humankind", said Claret

Claretian Missionaries have founded:

  1. Missionaries of Mary Immaculate By Fr. Armengol Coll and Mo. Imelda Makole October 7, 1909 in Equatorial Guinea
  2. Cordimarian Missionaries By Fr. Julian Collell and Mo. Carmen Serrano March 19, 1921 in Mexico City
  3. Missionaries of the Claretian Institution By Fr. Luis Pujol and Mo. Maria Dolores Sola May 25, 1951 in Vic, Spain
  4. Missionaries of St. Anthony Claret By Bishop Geraldo Fernandes and Mo. Leonia Milito March 19, 1958 in Londrina, Brazil
